4C Health Selected as 1 of 8 CMHCS in the State accepted for Federal Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC)

We are very pleased to announce (and celebrate as far and wide as we can) to all that Indiana has been accepted for the federal Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) grant. This will transform the landscape of how care is provided, its accessibility, the number of people that we can reach, the investments that can be made in our local communities for workforces and community collaboration and outreach. For both those struggling with mental health AND substance use disorders.

4C Health was one of 2 CMHCs preliminarily certified by our state as a CCBHC as part of their application as our continuum including crisis services meets those expectations today. We will be 1 of 8 CMHCs in the State of Indiana that will begin this transformation process over the next 6-7 months for 7 rural communities: Cass, Miami, Pulaski, Fulton, Howard, Tipton, and White counties.

Below are some of the outcomes of the CCBHC model implemented in other states. This will be a phenomenal change for our system and for how 4C Health is able to respond to an even broader range of community needs.

Once we know more on implementation details we will share! It is wonderful to share this news of evolution as it is very needed and to say it on the heels of 50 years of 4C Health this year and knowing that we will be here for our communities for the next 50 years in an even more robust manner. This is good stuff!
